Ahmed Gasem Ahmed Elhaj
Ahmed Gasim is a development and civil society professional with extensive experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), organizational leadership, and cultural advocacy in Sudan’s Blue Nile Region. A graduate of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Sennar University, he has built a strong professional background in programme monitoring, institutional development, strategic planning, and community engagement.
In 2026, Ahmed assumed the role of Executive Director of Partners for Peace Organization, following his previous service as the organization’s MEAL Officer. His career reflects a combination of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to strengthening civil society and promoting peace, social cohesion, and community development.
Beyond his development work, Ahmed has held several leadership positions in cultural and youth institutions, including serving as Executive Director of the Alban Cultural Group. Through his work in cultural leadership, theatre, and creative storytelling, he has contributed to raising public awareness and creating spaces for dialogue around sensitive social issues.
Ahmed also brings experience in consultancy and training, particularly in MEAL systems development, governance, organizational management, human rights, conflict resolution, and volunteerism. A skilled public speaker, presenter, and event host, he combines strong communication abilities with a commitment to institutional accountability, learning, and sustainable community impact.
