Project Name: Strengthening CSOs coordination Action in Emergencies

Project Objectives: Strengthening and coordination between civil society organizations and initiatives working in emergency cases to raise the quality of future interventions in the event of any emergency.

Project Summary:

With the survey, it was noted that there are real problems in arranging interventions implemented through initiatives and civil society organizations in the emergency sector among them and the authorities on the other hand, so this project was written and implemented to raise the quality of these interventions and develop coordination mechanisms to be activated in future emergencies.

Activities:

All the activities of All the activities of this project were carried out in the Ed-Damazin area during the month of October of 2024.

Project input

1. A training workshop on coordination aimed at initiatives and civil society organizations working in emergency.

2. Forum.

Project Outcomes

1. A coordinating mechanism has been formed that brings together thirty emergency initiatives with a coordination office and coordinator for their work.

2. Trainees learned the methods and types of coordination processes that can occur during emergency events.

3. Due to the participation of the authorities in the forum, the coordination was formed indirectly with these authorities and the minimum level of confidence that necessarily facilitates the work of all participants in emergency cases.

4. The understanding of participants in statistical work and methods of data collection and analysis has been enhanced and is a skill necessary to control work in emergencies.
